A Little Bit of Our History

In 2011 many families in the Suffolk area approached Pamela Hall about starting a co-op in Suffolk.  At the time, she was teaching writing classes at Southside Baptist church, with a waiting list to take the class.  Pamela felt God prompting her to get those families together, trusting God for the structure.

In May of 2011, nineteen families came together and decided they wanted to start a co-op in the Suffolk area.

Our first year was a great success.  We grew from 19 families to over 30 families and had classes from kindergarten to high school age.  In our second year, we grew to over 50 families, established a new leadership team and a board.

Through wonderful partnerships and talented families like yours, we were able to offer 20 elementary classes and 25 middle school classes and and 25 high school classes.  Our kids enjoyed classes from English to worship band, service projects, and field trips.  Thank you co-op families.

Of course, none of our success or joy would have been possible without a wonderful host church like Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church.  We are grateful for the resources and facilities they have graciously provided.

As we give thanks for last year, we anticipate the joy of another great year with many new families and classes.  We hope you will join us as we partner together to achieve excellence in Godly education.
