Sarah Sawyer To All Instructors

A versatile Visual Art Instructor/Mixed Media Artist, Sarah has exhibited her artwork at the College of the Albemarle, her digital photography was in “An Asian Experience” cultural event at the Grand Hall of the Shelton-Badgett NC Center for Viticulture and Enology, exhibited ceramics and artwork for 1st Friday Art Walk Art Celebration in Elizabeth City, NC, designed and contributed sculpture for the Food Bank of the Albemarle, has published artwork in COA’s first edition of Estuaries, an annual visual arts and literary journal featuring poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, photography, and art.Sarah also designed artwork for an author's first published book, has done restorative work on damaged paintings and has designed commissioned pieces. She received the College of the Albemarle’s Annual Academic and Student Leadership Awards Program Award, and she was selected for membership with PHI THETA KAPPA Honors Society and SIGMA ALPHA PI National Honors Society, and National Society of Leadership and Success. Fine Arts Instructor, Kings Grant School of Fine Arts. She currently serves as High School Chaplain at HSP, and has coordinated the annual HSP Art Exhibit from 2012 to present. In 2023, she founded the first online class offered at Homeschool Plus and organized the first LIVE Zoom session at HSP with New Zealand Fine Artist, Graham Braddock.
