"The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley is a beautiful museum with collections, exhibits and informative stories of mountain life around the 1700's and beyond. The museum includes art, crafts, history—something for everyone.
The current art exhibition, “Norman Rockwell’s America”, presents dozens of original works by Norman Rockwell and 323 vintage “Saturday Evening Post” covers with Rockwell illustrations. One of America’s best-known artists of the 20th century, Norman Rockwell lived and worked through some of the most eventful periods in the nation’s history and his illustrations vividly chronicle those times.
The Glen Burnie House next door to the museum is temporarily closed but the gardens are open and filled with statues, water features, and Asian accents.
