Boulder Ridge is located near Grand Rapids and is always a fun field trip! We are going on Friday, May 7 at 1:00. Arrive early and eat a picnic lunch outside before we enter as a group at 1:00. Once we enter the park you will be free to explore the park on your own or with friends. You will want some money for feeding the animals, and the giraffes are great fun to feed! They also have a safari ride to see additional animals.
$8 per student/adult (quite a savings from the normal $12 for students and $16 for 12 and up)
Ages 2 and under are free
Deadline to register for this field trip is April 28

Venture through the reptile house before checking out the ostrich, lemurs, kangaroos, monkeys, or crossing a bridge to get a closer look at the 11ft alligator in the pond below.
From there, head over to the bird aviary or meander through the petting zoo to see some of Boulder Ridge’s newest additions and take advantage of the rare opportunity to possibly pet a baby zebra, wildebeest, or water buffalo.
Feel free to enjoy the picnic area and the playground before hopping on a safari ride through the rest of the park that will give you an up-close look at all kinds of African hoof stock including oryx, eland, and ankole cattle.
