Lansing HEART's Statement of Faith To Publications / Articles - Lansing HEART's Statement of Faith

It is not required to be a Christian to be a part of Lansing HEART, but we ask that you respect the Statement of Faith. Anything that advocates something contrary to our Statement of Faith will not be accepted.

 

Statement of Faith

 

  • We believe that there is only one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ was the only one who lived a life without sin.  Everyone has sinned and needs salvation.

  • We believe Jesus Christ came to earth to pay the penalty for sin through His death on the cross and visible bodily resurrection.

  • We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith.

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without error.

  • We believe God created the first human pair in his image, he created them male and female. 

  • We believe in the sanctity of life and marriage, and that marriage is between one man and one woman.

  • We believe in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and that our lives should demonstrate a Christian character that is in harmony with a profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
