First Class Clackamas Teens (FCCT) is always looking for new tutors. Thank you for your interest in our homeschooling program for teens. We are excited about the possibility of having you join us.

This is a tutor agreement between you and FCCT. This form will be saved on the FCCT website under your profile and on our tutor bio page. Upon approval by our FCCT Leadership Team, you will be asked to fill out a Class Proposal Form with specific class details. FCCT will also need your photo to use in the tutor bio page.

If you do not have a student attending FCCT, you will get a free FCCT Tutor/Member account on our website. This will allow you to communicate with your students and their parents.

FCCT & Tutor Agreement

First Class Clackamas Teens agrees to:

Provide a safe physical space for instruction.
Be an introduction to students and families who are part of FCCT.
Provide additional adult monitoring in the environment.
Provide administrative support to you, as the instructor.

Tutor agrees to:
If my class is approved, then I understand, accept, and agree to the following:

To give FCCT permission to run a background check.
To sign up for a secure online account at firstclassclackamasteens.org.
To commit myself to the position of Tutor for the First Class Clackamas Teens program
To NOT teach anything that would be in direct conflict with our statement of faith (see below)
To submit a syllabus to Leadership Team and hand out to students on the first day of class
To complete the term(s) you have agreed to teach (core classes could be two terms)
To communicate your tuition payment requirements clearly to parents
To communicat your availability to students and their parents
To give a percentage grade to the student at the end of the term for the class
To attend FCCT Introductory and End of Year meetings
To find substitute tutor, if I am unable to teach on a particular date. I will also notify a member of the FCCT Leadership Team as soon as possible about the provisions for a substitute.

Tutor Statement of Faith

I.   The Word of God: The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
II.   The Trinity: Within the one Being that is God, there has existed from all eternity three coequal Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 1:1-2, 14)
III.   Salvation: All men are in violation of God’s righteous requirements and His holy character both by nature and act. (Romans 3:23 and 5:12, Ephesians 2:1-2) Salvation is offered as a gift, free to the sinner. This gift must be responded to by faith, not by any personal works, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone. (Acts 13:38-39; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Each tutor at FCCT volunteers their time in the unique and exciting opportunity to help shape young lives. We ask that those who take a position of leadership (such as tutoring) read and agree to the above basic doctrinal beliefs of the Christian faith. The Leadership Team of First Class Clackamas Teens will review and approve all classes offered for the fall and spring terms.
