Join us for an exciting year of exploring the crown of God's creation--the human body!  We will spend two weeks on each unit, followed by an online unit.  At home, students will read the unit and maintain a journal to prepare them for the class experiments.  We will be performing four dissections throughout the year - sheep's heart, kidney, and brain and cow's eye.  Class time will be spent doing group experiments and hands on activities.  Students will participate in the local science fair and compete to go to the state competition.  There will be a book report, oral speaking opportunities, and group games.  We work hard and play hard in this class.  Students in the past have enjoyed the challenge.
