About LCHA

Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Academy is a homeschool co-op founded in 2008.  We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization.  LCHA offers academic and enrichment classes to students from pre-K through high school, including classes eligible for high school credit.  Our academic instruction is among the best, offering classes for credit to those looking to pursue their college degree, in addition to many choices for students who are interested in the areas of the arts, trades, entrepreneurship, and more.  We also offer some of the finest enrichment classes in the Tampa Bay area, taught by talented teachers - many of them are homeschool graduates themselves!

LCHA is a community of homeschoolers and we offer numerous events and opportunities for students, including a Art Show, Yearbook, Valentine Exchange, Christmas Program, End of the Year Extravaganza, and more to help students learn leadership skills, display their talents, and enjoy social opportunities with friends and family.  We also offer a number of family activities such as field trips, a Field Day, a Children's Bazaar and more.

Since we are a homeschool cooperative, we require that all families volunteer throughout our 30 weeks together.
