FAQs

Q:

How much does it cost to join CHEEF and what does that cover?

A:

The annual fee is $40. This will help cover costs of parties/activities, website fees, facility usage donations and more.

Q:

What types of activities does CHEEF offer?

A:

Our group offers several types of activities.  "Physical Fridays" provide the kids with an opportunity for  physical activities like kickball, ice skating, roller skating, bowling, Phys Ed, and more. When parental help and interest is high, we offer CO-OP classes for enrichment taught by parents.   Monthly field trips, such as visiting Sheldon's Marsh or going to the zoo, are other activities the children enjoy.  We also offer parties throughout the year, usually at Harvest time, Christmas, and Valentine's Day.   We have even held graduation events, track and field day and high school formals in the past.

For the Moms we have a monthly Mom's Night Out. This is a wonderful time of refreshing, visiting, and encouraging support. A great chance to build relationships and learn and grow together. These take place in different homes each month, with an occasional coffee shop or restaurant visit.

Q:

Do all of our children have to be home schooled for our family to join this group?

A:

No. If you are home schooling, regardless of the number, we are here to be an encouragement on that journey.

Q:

What area does your group serve?

A:

We have families from all surrounding areas including Fremont, Bellevue, Clyde, Sandusky, Huron, and others. Our activities are not always in the same town, so everyone can be involved.

Q:

Can we join this group if we are using an online school?

A:

Yes!  We welcome all home schooling families that desire to follow the Lord to join, regardless of the curriculum you choose.

Q:

Do you prorate membership fees?

A:

No.
