Visitor Day
We will have a tour of Friendship Baptist Church and the West Branch Learning Tree Co-op. Please arrive between 10:20 and 10:30, as the tour will start a little after 10:30.
When you arrive at the building, please park in the lower/back parking lot (where all the minivans are!) unless you have a handicap placard. Then walk up to the second entrance - the one just past the electronic sign, and before the entrance that has a sign about the office. Come in those doors, and a Board member will be at the table. We'll have you sign in and pick up visitor passes for any adults in your family group. (Kids are welcome, but we don't generally put guest passes on them.) Depending on how busy the front desk area is, we may have you gather in the sanctuary, but we won't know that until the day of. :-)
Once everyone is assembled, we will start the tour. We will tour the entire building (a fair amount of walking and staircases) and end with a Q&A session. Depending on what time it is, you can watch a class, or we'll go straight to lunch. Lunch will be in the gym, and is BYO. We will have a pop stand set up, so if you want pop or snacks, feel free to bring cash/change. All proceeds go to fundraising for the end-of-year play that our high schoolers will put on.
You can also choose not to stay for lunch - it's crazy and chaotic and loud, and not everyone enjoys that. :-) Especially as a visitor, it can be overwhelming for kids and adults.
