Lake Forest Home School Club is a ministry to Christian homeschooling families in the Eastern Shore area.
New Member Families 2012-2013 school year: 86 New Members are always welcome!
We offer educational and fun opportunities for our children to enrich their home school experience. We coordinate field trips, P.E. & sports, enrichment classes, 4H, drama, service opportunities, beach and park days.
We provide support meetings for our new homeschooling Mom's to help them through the rough spots as they begin this exciting and rewarding journey. Email me if you are in need of a church cover school list.
Please read our member guidelines. if you would like to join us, follow the directions on the member guideline form. We realize that homeschooling is a calling and it isn't a right fit for everyone, but if you decide to home school, we are here to help.
"Therefore encourage one another, and build each other up."
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Weath
Mission Statement (Restored)
The LFHSC is an association of like-minded Christians who believe in supporting one another in the education of our children. Every program we plan and provide is prepared through a Christian filter. If you believe as we do and agree or are comfortable with those of us who are in agreement, you are welcome to join us as long as your personal beliefs are not abhorrently opposed to Christianity (i.e. Satanist, white supremist, homosexual, etc.). LFHSC reserves the right to deny membership according to these Biblical principles: Rom. 13:10, Gen. 2:23,24, Titus 1:6, 1 Cor. 6:9,10.
Foundational Christian Beliefs:
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:1-6 (KJV)
The Scriptures on tolerance within the Christian community:
9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 (KJV)
