We're glad you dropped by! If you live anywhere on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, from Spanish Ft. to Point Clear, we invite you to check out our public pages. We are a Christian home school club that embraces the God given responsibility and privilege to provide our children with a Christian education. We believe in uniting and strengthening relationships among like-minded home schooling families in our area.
We began as a small intimate group of 30 families and in just 3 years time, we have grown to over 100 participating families living near one another. Yes, there are a lot of homeschoolers in our area to get to know and lots of opportunities to do so. We have activites just about every week day for you to pick and choose from. Our activities are all held in your area, except for field trips.
We offer educational and fun opportunities for our children to enrich their home school experience. We coordinate field trips, P.E. & sports, enrichment classes, co-op opportunities, science lab, drama, beach and park days. We offer opportunities for our children to serve in civic service projects and we sponsor our own music ministry program. Over 50 homeschooling families joined us this year on our April 2009, 5 day "Holiday" fun ship cruise to Mexico. See the public link for this years homeschool cruise choices, the Fantasy trip from the Mobile Port will make an excellent graduation trip for your senior and younger siblings.
New this year is our Teen Web Design Club. The CEO, Taylor Ripley, of Turkreno in Daphne, Alabama, has provided each teen with a complimentary website, website hosting, programming tutorials, and instructions. Turkreno is a webdesign, hosting, and computer repair company. Students will learn all format languages for webdesign this year and those who are interested will proceed to advanced design next year. Those who choose not to continue to advanced will surrender their websites to new students.
We provide support meetings for our new homeschooling Mom's to help them through the rough spots as they begin this exciting and rewarding journey, with God as their guide. Email me if you are in need of a church school list.
