Welcome to Pathways Academy!

Families interested in homeschooling may review our Orientation to Homeschooling information without requesting membership or logging in to our website.

However, enrollment in Pathways Academy is mandatory to request access to private areas of our school website and to receive the weekly newsletter by email.

Enrolled families MUST LOG IN to access the school activity calendar, print paper work, sign up for field trips, and check school events.

PATHWAYS ACADEMY SCHOOL NEWS & INFORMATION for 2011-2012 School Year:

PATHWAYS' FAMILIES: The Re-Enrollment Deadline of Thursday, August 18, 2011 has passed. If you have NOT RE-ENROLLED, but plan to do so, please contact DENISE DRISKELL IMMEDIATELY! Please log in to the private side of the school website for more information and to print out the re-enrollment paperwork. (You will only need a Family Update form along with a CSEF for each student.)

If a student has chosen to return to Public or Private School for the 2011-12 school year, you must fill out a TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM and mail it in or drop it off at the Resource Center office. The transcript request form can be printed from the FORMS & PAPERWORK section of the school website (private side) or may be picked up from the Pathways' Resource Center during regular office hours. Per our school policy, we will NO LONGER ACCEPT transcript requests over the telephone. We thank you for your cooperation in helping us to help you in a timely manner.

NEW & PROSPECTIVE FAMILIES: Limited Space is available. Please contact the Pathways Academy School office, 256-494-1600 during office hours, Thursday afternoons from 12-4pm, for more information.

Attention Prospective & New Homeschooling Families:

PROSPECTIVE FAMILIES SEEKING ENROLLMENT WITH PATHWAYS ACADEMY MAY BEGIN REGISTRATION ONLY AFTER ATTENDING A NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION MEETING*.

To request admission, please attend one of the posted NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION SESSIONS and submit your family's paperwork, which can be found on the menu located on the left-hand side of this website. New students must present an ORIGINAL birth certificate to be copied in our office. We will also make a copy of the teaching parent's driver's license. A criminal background check and references will be required for admittance. A $25 application fee, $50 registration fee and $125 tuition (for a total of $200 per family), must be submitted along with the 2011-2012 paperwork in order to be considered for admittance into Pathways Academy.

We look forward to meeting you during orientation.

Please wait until after you have attended an orientation meeting to WITHDRAW your child(ren) from their current school. Submission of paperwork does not mean automatic admisson into Pathways Academy. Thank you!

*SCHOOL OFFICE HOURS ARE NOON-4pm ON THURSDAYS ONLY. Please keep in mind that NEW FAMILY ORIENTATION MEETINGS are held on Thursday afternoons during office hours. Orientation meetings usually last about an hour & 30 minutes. Please consult your calendar and choose the orientation date that works best for your family's schedule.

Pathways Academy is an Alabama church school as defined in Alabama law code 16-28-1, and serves families that desire to homeschool their children.
