Welcome to our website!
We are a Christian Homeschool Support Group who meet on Thursdays in the Northwest Valley. Our goal is to provide educational and social activities for homeschooling moms and students (all ages) in a Christian atmosphere. We seek to do this in a flexible, cooperative way that complements rather than overburdens families with limited time and resources.
We have had an exciting inaugural year of expanding our monthly multi-age co op into a weekly park day & age-grouped co op of 2 class periods to incorporate a variety of enrichment topics taught by parents & guest teachers. We made the most of every opportunity and our students learned a lot, had fun & initiated neat relationships with adults, teens & other students. The expansion into middle school & high school was a little less ambitious than we'd hoped but when we look at the things our tweens & teens have begun this year--JA Stock Market Challenge, Toastmaster's Speech & Leadership, Assisting or being a role model to younger students--we have laid a good foundation to build a wider, more vibrant program for 2011/2012 school year.
Our group is sponsoring a Valentine's Skating Party for homeschool co ops and support groups with 5 or more families wanting to attend. See the link to the left for details.
