We are a Christian group of active home educators who have joined together to support one another in the educational process. We would be happy to have you as a part of HECP and it is our desire that you will feel welcomed, encouraged and supported.

Co-op Classes Offered

Home Educators of Central Phoenix is proud to offer FREE co-op classes to our members. These classes are offered on a rotating weekly schedule and participation is NOT manditory.

Institute for Excellence in Writing:

Bible Based Writing

For the mom who wants to use the Bible to teach Writing Structure & Style.

Bible Based Writing Lessons consists of 30 specific assignments using the models & techniques from the course Teaching Writing: Structure & Style. From basic note taking to story rewriting and from research process to essays, this collection of lessons will strengthen both creative & expository composition skills.

All HECP parents will have the opportunity to view the course Teaching Writing: Structure and Style prior to the start of this class. The bi-weekly classes will be directed by one of our veteran members. Parent participation is required. The Bible Based Writing format works well with the multi-age class. All ages are welcome.
