Hearts At Home Homeschool Support Group is on summer break!
Its board is diligently working on the 2009-2010 school year.
Current HAH members still have access to the website. HAH members can use the forum as they have during the year - inviting others to a park day, sharing homeschooling tidbits they come across, selling curriculum they no longer need, etc.
Here are some of Hearts at Home's past year activities:
Highlands Ranch Days, Colorado Ballet's Swan Lake, Miller Farm, 11 & Up pancake breakfast, Coors Field tour, Mom's night out with Rene Ellison, corn maze, library research tutorial, clay classes, mom & dad's night out, Arapahoe Philharmonic Children's concert, police/firehouse tour, Amazing Jakes, Family Christmas party, Mom's Night Out at Champs, BC tour at the Denver Museum of Science and Nature, Sunflower Market tour, 11 & Up game day, stock show, 11 & Up bowling, Just So production at the Arvada center, Colorado History museum, monthly socials, state capital tour, scuba diving intro. lesson, Arvada Flour Mill tour, 11 & up team challenges, Vision Heir days, Migration Madness, Lookout Mtn. For visitors to our website, please take a look at the documents in the side navigation bar. They will give you more information about Hearts At Home. However, a disclaimer here - those documents will be revised this summer as well and may change before August 1st.
If you have any questions about Hearts At Home, please use the "Contact Us" tab. A Hearts At Home board member will get back to you as soon as possible. During the summer, the Hearts at Home email is NOT checked daily so it may be a few days or so before you hear from us.
Finally, Hearts At Home will begin accepting registrations for the 2009-2010 school year on August 1st. Please check back with us then for the most up-to-date information on our homeschool support group.
Have a wonderful summer!!!
