Welcome to Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Florida (CHEFF).
CHEFF was founded in 2003. Our desire is to encourage each other as we endeavor to educate our children for the Lord's glory. Our group has many different families, some who are just beginning their homeschool journey and others who are 2nd generation homeschoolers.
In September we began our first official Co-Op. We are meeting twice a month at Bible Fellowship Church for classes on a wide range of topics. There will also be field trips for most topics covered. Each parent is required to be involved in some type of service at each co-op meeting, for example, teaching, setting up, bringing snacks, etc., so that our co-op can run smoothly and efficiently.
There is a $50.00 yearly registration fee to join our group, which covers the cost of materials for the co-op, and membership in Florida Parent-Educators Association (FPEA). If you need to make payment arrangements, please see Mary Beth Ford or Margaret Sager.
We also have monthly Mom’s Night Out meetings during which we discuss general business for the group. So, it is important to try to be at these meetings. We also use this opportunity to have a little fun and to get to know and encourage one another in our homeschool adventure.
