Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale Homeschoolers is a Christian homeschool support group that strives to minister to one another in support, encouragement and fellowship. Whether you are a newcomer to homeschooling or a seasoned veteran, CCFLH provides opportunties for fellowship, educational activities, resource information, and always, prayer.

CCFLH is a group of about 75 families who homeschool our children in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. The main focus of our group is to support and nuture families in their efforts to raise and educate their children in the admonition of the Lord at home. Our hope is to build relationships with other homeschool families through prayer, fellowship, classes, events, and fieldtrips.

As a group we meet the 2nd Thursday of the month from September to April (excluding December) 7:00 pm-9pm at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale (2401 W. Cypress Creek Road Fort Lauderdale 33309) for support, to answer questions, sometimes have a guest speaker. We offer co-ops classes for the kids on Tuesday mornings from 10:15 am to 2pm. Co-ops are parent led classes that are fun and educational in nature and not meant to replace your school curriculum. Parents organize fieldtrips throughout the year for various ages. Events are offered at varous times for such things as Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, Science Fair, Historical Character Day, International Day, Curriculum Sales, Graduation/Promotion Night, Mom's Christmas Party, etc.

Only members are allowed to log-in to the private side of the webpage. On the private side of our website there is a calendar of member only events, member only field trips, a forum, a classified section, and many others member only sections. The website is very secure and safe.

New Membership is closed from March 1 to August 1. We will be accepting new members on August 1, 2010.

CCFLH Dues for 2009-10 School Year are $35 for new members. It includes  FPEA(Florida, Parent Educators Association).
