Welcome to Chesapeake Home School Network (CHSN).
We are a Christian home school network located on the eastern shore of Maryland with the majority of our activities centered around Chestertown and Church Hill, Maryland.
As a Christ centered group, we welcome and encourage home schoolers of all faiths and religions. CHSN offers support through sharing wisdom and experience, sharing God's love by loving others, providing moral support, various social activities, informative meetings, and newsletters.
Our group is different from a co-op. As a matter of fact, our co-op is a very small portion of who we are. We are primarily a network of home school parents who seek to assist one another along the home school journey.
We have monthly meetings to discuss various aspects and challenges to home schooling. We will bring in guest speakers to enlighten our group to a new topic. We have MOMS nights out to strengthen our bonds and friendships with each other. We have holiday parties, family gatherings and picnics, science fairs, history fairs, geography fairs, field trips, a yearbook, monthly bowling, monthly roller skating, summer weekly park days and Friends and Family night to show off our accomplishments for the year. We also offer a curriculum lending library and a K-12 co-op which is open to any member in good standing with the network.
