Welcome to the Southwest Michigan Christian Scholars' group website!
SMCS is a non-denominational homeschool support group serving families in St. Joseph, Stevensville, and surrounding Michigan areas. SMCS is affiliated with our state homeschool organization, Information Network for Christian Homes (INCH). Approximately 75 families belong to our support group (2007-2008).
SMCS offers a variety of field trips and other activities such as an International Food Fair, Fine Arts Festivals , monthly Moms' Support meetings, a 4th-6th grade Reading Group, and Iowa Standardized testing, plus many more. We also provide our members with a newsletter which is published eight times per year on our website.
SMCS membership is $20 for new members, $27 for renewing members. Anyone wishing to join the group can contact Beth Fiskars for membership information.
