As a ministry of Cornerstone Calvary Chapel in Howell, NJ the Cornerstone Home Education Group (CHEG) is a Christ-centered home school support group ministering to families in Central New Jersey. We recognize that homeschooling families benefit from a place of community together, and our mission is to provide encouragement along the journey of homeschooling in a variety of environments.
CHEG offers a variety of family experiences including a weekly Co-op, professional student portraits & Yearbook, standardized testing, family nights, graduation event, holiday celebrations, field trips, and much more. Of course, all of this happens because of our awesome members who volunteer to serve one another, as this is the only way we can keep all of our activities running smoothly. As a paid CHEG group member ($20 annual fee), you will have ample opportunity to get involved in as many of these activities as you would like.
A popular environment for most members is our cooperative learning environment for families with children ages 6 through 12th grade. (*Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten classes are offered as a courtesy only to families with older children enrolled in the co-op). Co-op currently meets once a week for 5+ hours of enrichment educational classes offered from September through May (30 weeks). Parent participation is required onsite to assist in teaching or cooperative capacities during the hours their student(s) participate, as well as supplemental cooperative roles as needed by the Co-op environment. Additional fees apply. *Classes meet at Grace Tabernacle Bible Church, 4041 Squankum-Allenwood Rd., Wall NJ.

UPDATE **As of May 1st, class schedules are still under construction. Thank you for your patience as the administrative teams work to coordinate classes & schedules that will enrich your homeschooling endeavors! We hope to have things ready for CHEG Membership renewals to begin on June 5th and Co-op registrations to begin on June 9th.**
**2011-2012 Co-op Class Registrations are now CLOSED**
Refunds of fees for the 2011-2012 year will be granted based on the following schedule: (*PayPal charges our ministry a transaction fee for online refunds, therefore all requests for reimbursements where fees were originally made through PayPal will be returned via check requisition from Cornerstone Calvary Chapel's finance department.)
*Cancellations/Refund Requests made up to 6 weeks prior to the Co-op start date (before 8/1/11) will receive 100% refund of fees paid.
*Cancellations/Refund Requests made up to 4 weeks prior to the Co-op start date (before 8/15/11) will receive 75% refund of fees paid.
*Cancellations/Refund Requests made prior to 2 weeks prior to the Co-op start date (before 8/29/11) will receive 50% refund of fees.
**Requests made after 8/29/11 will be subject to no refund of fees paid.
