How To Get Started Home Schooling Meetings

If you are interested in finding out more about homeschooling in South Carolina, please join me for this informational meeting on Thursday, July 8th 10:00 am-12:00 noon, or July 18th, 6:30-8:30 pm at the Anderson County Library. We will discuss the three legal options for homeschooling in South Carolina. General information regarding record keeping, how to withdraw from the public school system and choosing curriculum will be some of the topics covered in this meeting. There is no fee and it is not necessary to register. There will be time for a question and answer session. I look forward to meeting you and providing you with the information you need to make this important decision.

WHO WE ARE
The Anderson Home School Association is a support group for homeschoolers in the South Carolina Upstate. We offer a legal accountability option, monthly activities, weekly co-op classes, a fine arts festival, a yearbook, and more.
AHSA is a Christian organization, the members of which are like-minded Christian home educators dedicated to observing the Biblical commands of Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4. We promote home education as the scriptural design for education whereas institutional education is an alternative to the home. We believe that every family has a God-given legal and constitutional right to home educate in the state of South Carolina regardless of their philosophy of education or religious affiliation.
