Welcome to Cathedral L.I.F.E.
"Learning In a Family Environment"
Cathedral LIFE is a support group for families in the North Charleston/Summerville/Goose Creek area who are interested in "doing life" with other Christian homeschooling families. Our focus is on mentoring and encouraging homeschooling families.
Membership in Cathedral LIFE is open to families who home school at least one child in accordance with SC Homeschooling Statutes 59-65-40, 59-65-45, and 59-65-47.
Children that are enrolled in the SC Virtual Charter Public School program are not considered home schooled under SC law. Families who educate at least one child through this Virtual Charter Public School option are not eligible for membership in Cathedral LIFE, even if another child in the family is legally homeschooling under SC statutes.
Cathedral L.I.F.E. is a ministry of Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Rd., Charleston, SC 29418. While we encourage you to visit Cathedral of Praise if you are looking for a church home, membership at Cathedral of Praise is NOT necessary to be a part of the Cathedral L.I.F.E. home school support group.
