 HEART offers the LEGAL required for homeschooling in South Carolina - called 3rd option.   A highly-respected, state-wide group, we have been helping families homeschool for over 20 years.   Each family is free to choose the materials/classes which work best for them.   

In SC, you may homeschool if you have a GED or DIPLOMA and are the parent/guardian of the student.   You must teach READING, WRITING, MATH, SCIENCE, & HISTORY.    You must keep records of what is done.   If you have questions about how to make this work, take a look at our Getting Started video below, then reach out!
