Our production for this year is still being worked on and will be based on the number of students that sign up for the class.  We are leaning towards doing a play or drama this year. Auditions will be held within the first two or three weeks of class. The remainder of the year involves all aspects of production: rehearsals, music, choreography, props, sets, and more. During the year, students will learn stage directions and blocking, theater terms and teamwork. Show dates (TBA) will be towards the end of the school year.  Additional rehersals will be necessary, which will involve an extra hour or two on Thursdays. A few optional dates may also be scheduled for set work.  A final schedule will be sent out over the summer.

REQUIREMENT: Every family must sign up for a volunteer job with this class, in any of the following position: costuming, set design, program design, or show week jobs in set-up, ticket sales, backstage and clean up. The week of the final production will also require parental involvement. In addition, there will be a PARENT MEETING to go over volunteer jobs and develop a creative team.  

The cost of the class will include production costs, royalties, etc., and will depend on the number of students involved.
