Parents Meeting

At HOME we place a high priority on Connecting with one another. One of the primary means of connection is our Monthly Parent’s Meeting. This is a time of laughter and fun, prayer and teaching, connecting and ministering with one another.

You are Welcome…

Whether you are a Member of HOME or just seeking support, you are welcome to attend the Parents Meeting. The dress is casual.

Time & Location

We gather the last Monday of each month between 6:30 and 7:00pm. Please contact Sharon Ford at for location details.

*There is no Parents Meeting in December.

*The May meeting is the Used-Curriculum sale and occurs on May 19th.

What to Expect…

When you attend one of our Parent’s Meetings you can expect the following…

The Beginning of the Gathering

Although the Meeting itself does not start until 7pm, people start arriving at around 6:30 for a time of fellowship. This is a great time to meet new people and catch up with friends.

Fun, Food & Facts

As we begin our meeting we enjoy snacks as announcements are made, visitors are greeted, and fun games are played.

Prayer and Ministry

This is our most important time as we divide into small groups; share our lives with one another and take each other’s needs before the King of Glory.

After our time of prayer the ministry continues as our speaker for the evening comes and blesses us with truth that is applicable to our daily lives.

After the Gathering

Everyone is welcome to make the trek across the parking lot to Village Inn where our time of fellowship continues into the late night hours.

Child Care

HOME now provides Child Care for our Parents Meeting. We will have several young ladies to care for our children, including a certified teacher at a local daycare.  This is available for children ages 1-12.  Infants are welcome in the Parents' Meeting.

*RSVP's are necessary to insure we have enough caregivers.  We want to bless our young ladies who are serving, so please bring a donation of $2 per child.  To reserve a place for your child email Sharon Ford at with ages and any special needs by the Sunday prior to the meeting.

Speakers and Topics

We have a wide variety of Speakers and Topics throughout the year. In selecting our speakers and topics we try to take into consideration where the current needs of our community are and what would best minister to them.  So on any given Monday you could find the topic ranging from Internet safety to a curriculum share, a homeschooling vision for the 21st century to teaching our children reading. Watch the newsletter for the upcoming month’s topic!

*If you would like to submit an application to speak at a HOME Parents’ Meeting please send your application to Jennifer at

We look forward to seeing you at our next Meeting!
