Track & Field

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”  Psalm 133:1

Track and Field Excellence!

The FEAST Patriots have had multiple athletes that stand among some of the top athletes in the area, state, and nation. Matt Torvik holds the 4th fastest high school 2000m steeplechase time in the nation! Greyson Lee holds the 29th farthest Triple Jump and 66th farthest Long Jump in the state! Chasing his brother, Derrick Torvick holds the 61st fastest 2000m steeplechase in the nation! Garett Solombrino holds the 93rd fastest 2000m steeplechase time in the nation also! Go Patriots!

As the season closes, our athletes look forward to summer and fall sports. This season would be impossible without the guid- ance, leadership, and hard work of our committed coaches. A special thanks is extended to all the coaches and especially Coach Dunn. His tireless and sel ess support of this team has been invaluable. As the 2016 Patriots track season closes, the 2017 season looms, ready to be won.

Can’t Stop Running!

Although the regular season of track ended, the FEAST Patriots continue to compete. A small group of athletes chose to attend the Home School National Championship in Spring eld, Missouri. After traveling the many miles, they competed well during the course of the two day meet. This meet included some unique events including Pentathlon and Javelin.

The Varsity event champions from the Texas Home School State Track and Field Meet, including a group of FEAST Patriot Ath- letes, will be attending the Baylor Meet of Champions. This meet is a competition between the major Track and Field division champions in the State of Texas. Our FEAST Patriot Athletes will get to test their strength against UIL, TAPPS, and other division champions in the beautiful Baylor track facility on May 21. Watch the MANNA for a review on these competitions!
