Runners To Your Mark!
Spring Track & Field is About to Start

Informal Workouts
Now is the time to start preparing for an outstanding track season. All athletes should be working on their own now.  Also you may show up at Lopez Middle School on Thursdays at 5pm for informal workouts that open to anyone. These workouts are not affiliated with FEAST, but are run by FEAST coaches.

Off-Season Track Workout and Veteran Kickoff Meeting
Athletes should also plan on attending our Off-Season workout at 10am on Saturday, January 3rd,at Johnson High School.  This workout will be followed by a veteran kickoff meeting for returning athletes, approximately at noon.  Every athlete and one parent are required to attend a kickoff meeting each year.  The veteran kickoff meeting will be much shorter than the regular kickoff meetings which are designed for new runners.

Track Kickoff Meetings
If this will be your first year to compete in track for FEAST, or if you are a returning athlete who missed the veteran kickoff meeting, then you must attend one of our regular track kickoff meetings. Kickoff meetings will be held at FEAST Burwood Hall on Thursday, January 8th,and another on Monday, January 12th.  Both will begin at 6:30pm.

Registration
On-line registration will open January 5th and close on January 28th.  Athletes may register for track after they have attended a kickoff meeting.  Please note athletes are not allowed to participate in any regular season practices unless they have registered and their family has paid for a Patriot Pass.  The Patriot Pass costs $125 and is valid for the 2014-2015 school year.  A Patriot Pass allows the entire family to participate in any of the various FEAST activities including sports.  Again, registration will close January 28th, and there will be no late registration allowed.

Regular Season Practices
Practices will begin at 4:45pm and run for about 2 hours.  Practices will be every Monday and Wednesday. The first high school practice will be Wednesday, January 14th, at McAllister Park, and the first middle school practice will be Wednesday, January 28th, most likely at Randolph High School.
