Feast Patriot Running Camp

8 Weeks, from June 7 – July 28

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:45-9:45am

Camp Topics: Sports psychology • Cross Training • Injury Prevention • Proper Running Techique • Race Tactics • Running Logs • Stretching • Goal Setting • Nutrition • Strength Training and MORE!!!

Running & Muscle Fitness: Runners are grouped according to fitness level and experience (Beginners welcome-All Ages).  Camps will begin with Warm-up Phase, Workout Phase (consisting of distance, tempo, fartlek, and interval runs), Muscle &  Conditioning Phase (Your abs will be sore for a week) and Final Cool-Down Phase.

Anyone with the desire to run and have FUN is invited to come out and run!

Bring a towel or mat, the grass gets wet and plenty of water for hydration!! FEAST Patriot Official Cross Country

Kick–Off Meetings

Tuesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 30

Cross Country is beginning to gear up for their season in the summer and fall.  Cross Country provides a program that improves conditioning, speed, and ulti-  mately next year’s track running. The season will begin in August, and you can  read about the FREE Summer Running Camp and the Summer Running Clubs,  going on now, in this issue of MANNA.

All athletes that are planning on being part of the cross country team need to at-  tend one of two mandatory meetings, June 28 or June 30 at the FEAST Campus in  Burwood Hall.

Families and athletes can join any of the 4-Running Programs:

  • Competitive CC Team
  • Track off-season sprinter group

  • Fitness group

  • Optional Home Eligibility Running Program

Additional information to be covered at the kick-off meeting:

  • 1st Official CC Season Practice Starts: Tuesday, August 2nd.

  • 2016 CC High School & Middle School Meet Schedule (8-9 meets, plus NIKE  Region)

  • 14th Annual FEAST Patriot CC Invitational Meet. (New bigger/better location)

  • New Middle School Uniforms and New Team Apparel Sign-up and ordering  information.
