Mission Statement

Veritas Catholic Academy is a home school support group which provides networking and support among Catholic home schooling families in the greater Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.  We do so in full accordance with the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church.  We hold fast to the sacraments and look to the Holy Family for our example in living out our daily vocations.

Some of our primary activities and offerings include:

o   First Friday Masses and pre-Mass gatherings for crafts/activities

o   annual family picnics and sledding parties

o   monthly wintertime indoor ice-skating

o   weekly summer park days

o   ladies' nights out (e.g., coffee and fellowship)

o   couples’ night out

o   book club

o   field trips

Through our forum, members can share prayer requests and other communication with the group.
