Homeschool Classes in Northern Virginia
Classical Conversations partners with homeschool parents who want a classical Christian education for their children. Our weekly programs and communities are academically demanding and are for families interested in pursuing a challenging classical curriculum. Classical Conversations offers programs for 4 year old children up through high school. We are not a private school, but a service that is operated by facilitator-tutors who have successfully homeschooled their own children and seek to complement your homeschool. The purpose of study is to know God and to make Him known. According to Proverbs 24:3-4, the stages of learning are knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. The mission of Classical Conversations is to assist parents in their endeavor to give their children the knowledge of God, the understanding of who He is, and the wisdom to obey Him. L.I.F.E. (Loving Instruction For Eternity) is a ministry of Gainesville Presbyterian Church. It is L.I.F.E.’s goal to assist parents in the education of their children. We provide homeschool co-op classes one or two days a week with lectures, discussions, presentations, and labs. The other days of the week students work at home with parental help and management of their course work. Most classes are geared toward the junior and senior high school levels, but we do offer some classes for the elementary grades as well. Tests are administered and grades are given by the teachers for all core classes. The school year begins in September and ends in May. For information on the classes, visit their website. For further questions, contact the L.I.F.E. Administrator, Judy Trudeau firstname.lastname@example.org
