STUDENT STATESMANSHIP INSTITUTE ONSITE

High School Students in Mid-Michigan have a unique opportunity to participate in the Student Statesmanship Onsite Program November 18 and 19, 2009.  The program is being co-sponsored by Midland Christian School, Calvary Baptist School, and the Christian Home Educators of Midland Ministry, Inc. This SSI Onsite will be held at Midland Christian School.

Registration is $55 per student, with a $5 early registration discount available before November 4, 2009. Due to space restrictions, pre-registration is required before November 13, 2009.

Student Statesmanship Institute (SSI) is a ministry of Foundation for Traditional Values, and was founded in 1993 by James Muffett. SSI uses a dynamic hands-on approach to teaching, using actual Michigan Legislative bills and the legislative process to teach America's Judeo-Christian Heritage, history, government, the Bible, civics, and debate.

During the classroom sessions, students will receive Biblical worldview training giving them greater application of Biblical principals to every area of life. Students will learn that they are called to be Ambassador's for Christ, with a greater realization of God's destiny and purpose for their lives. A goal of SSI is to motivate students to learn, study, and become all God wants them to be, and to develop a greater capacity to distinguish between secular and Biblical worldview approaches to life.

This program is for High School students 9th to 12th grades only.

See SSI web site for overview of the Onsite program.
