As is true of many activities in life, homeschooling has a legal side that must be considered and understood. In Connecticut, that means comprehending the difference between the law and what are particularly known as the C-14 Guidelines; it means understanding the difference between what is statutorily required and what is voluntary; and it means knowing what the school district can and cannot request of homeschoolers.
