HOMESCHOOLING THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL

Possibly one of the most daunting decisions in home education is whether or not to continue homeschooling through high school.  Many families, even those who have kept their children out of public school for the entirety of elementary and middle school, choose to send their students into a classroom-based educational environment for high school;  others opt to continue educating in a home-based context.  Either decision can be valid for many reasons.

If you have decided to continue homeschooling into secondary school, please be reassured that many options are at your disposal, as is the counsel of many veteran homeschoolers.  One of the best places to start is the HSLDA Homeschooling Through High School webpage.  For more local support, consider attending one of our high school support gatherings on select Tuesday evenings throughout the year.  For a description of the current meeting topics, please click on the link below.
