HR STEERING COMMITTEE: JAY AND KRISTI SCHWISOW

Jay and Kristi have been married for 26 years! They give all the glory to God for His continued grace and mercy!

Jay and Kristi Schwisow are the parents of Clint and Kayla Barker and Joshua, Mercy and Melissa Schwisow. They began educating their children at home in the early 1990s.

Kayla graduated from Abeka Academy in 2005 and from Platt College in 2007. Kayla was married to Clint Barker in January of 2008. Kayla is the owner of Spink Studio, a graphic design and photography business. Clint graduated from the University of Texas in the summer of 2009 and owns Barker Lawn Care and Landscaping, Fuzz Productions, and HamApparel.com.

Joshua graduated from CHEC Independent School in May 2008. He is currently mentoring with Pastor Kevin Swanson at the Shepherding Center through Reformation Church and helping with the radio program, Generations with Vision. He is also a student at Whitfield Seminary and  he hopes to earn his Masters of Divinity and work as a teaching pastor.

Jay and Kristi continue to teach and train their son Joshua (almost 21) and daughters Mercy (almost 13) and Melissa (10) at home with the help of Reformation Church, CHEC Independent School and House on the Rock. They live on the high plains southeast of Aurora.

They own one very sweet golden retriever named Jasmine (Jazzy for short) and a  very cute (but independent) cat named Bitsy.
