HR STEERING COMMITTE: JAY AND KRISTI SCHWISOW

Jay and Kristi have been married for 25 years and homeschooling for 18 of those years!

Jay and Kristi Schwisow are the parents of Clint and Kayla Barker and Joshua, Mercy and Melissa Schwisow. They began educating their children at home in the fall of 1991.

Kayla graduated from Abeka Academy in 2005 and from Platte College in 2007. Kayla was married to Clint Barker in January of 2008. Kayla is the owner of Spink Studio, a graphic design and photography business. Clint graduated from the University of Texas in the summer of 2009 and owns Fuzz Productions.

Joshua graduated from CHEC Independent School in May 2008. He is the assistant manager at Family Christian Stores in Park Meadows. He currently takes on-line classes with Dallas Christian College and is working towards a B.S. degree in Ministry and Leadership.

Jay and Kristi continue to teach and train their son Joshua (20) and daughters Mercy (12) and Melissa (9) at home with the help of  Reformation Church, CHEC Independent School and House on the Rock. They live in the country southeast of Aurora.

They own one very cute golden retriever named Jasmine, "Jazz" for short, and a tiny kitten named Bitsy.
