FAITH AND PURPOSE STATEMENT
Building Families on a Firm Foundation
(Matthew 7:24-25) Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Purpose
-
To glorify God.
-
To provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support to homeschooling families.
-
To provide classes, fieldtrips, service opportunities, and activities to homeschooling families that enhance the educational experience.
Statement of Faith
(Used with permission from Home School Legal Defense Association)
-
There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
-
Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, is God come in the flesh.
-
The Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
-
Man is by nature sinful and is inherently in need of salvation, which is exclusively found by faith alone in Jesus Christ and His shed blood, not by works or any other method.
-
Christ's death provides substitutionary atonement for our sins.
-
Jesus Christ literally rose bodily from the dead.
-
Jesus Christ literally will come to earth again in the Second Advent.
