STATEMENT OF FAITH

The South Central (Nebraska) Christian Home Educators Association exists to encourage and support Christian families in home-centered education based on Biblical principals.  Acknowledging that the Bible alone provides the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and practice, and that Jesus Christ is God's Holy Son, whom we seek to glorify in all we do.  SCCHEA acts as an informational resource for the surrounding communities regarding  home schooling matters.  SCCHEA exists in cooperation with the Nebraska Christian Home Educator's Association.  The NCHEA is a statewide organization that assists, challenges, encourages and informs home schooling families of  their rights and responsibilities.  The state organization also keeps families informed of the state and national laws and legislation that relate to homeschooling.  The annual Convention and Curriculum Fair is also organized by the NCHEA.
