STATEMENT OF FAITHWhat is Family Treasures Homeschoolers and what do we believe? 1. We are a group of homeschoolers that believe Jesus Christ is Lord and apart from God we can do nothing. 2. We are here to support each other in the homeschooling endeavor. 3. We welcome all Christians committed to Scripture as the final authority in all matter that concern life and death. 4. We believe there is only One True God-revealed in three persons...Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 5. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son Jesus was both human and divine. 6. We welcome all parents/guardians of children who have experienced the new birth offered in a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. (only one parent/guardian needs to have this relationship to participate in this group) We as a group recognize God's design for marriage is made up of one man and one woman and is the appropriate moral way to view partners/marriage. 7. We welcome all parents/guardians who wish to school their children at home for the bulk of their training.
Statement of Community We acknowledge there are denominational differences between us, but we choose to concentrate on our spiritual unity as believers through our common faith in Jesus Christ and will not allow lesser doctrinal differences to hinder our cooperation as Christian home educators.
