DRAMA CLASSES - NEW

We finally decided on the times for Drama class and hope it works for everyone’s schedule! The vote was split between Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning for Drama classes. So, we decided to offer the same classes on 2 different days.  Even though Cordelia lives in Eureka, she has agreed to drive in twice a week so families have a choice!
 
To officially register and hold your spot for a Drama class, please send an email to Kerrie Tat eat ketatehomelink@aol.com and put “Drama” in the subject line. Include a parent name, address, home phone number, cell phone number along with the child’s name & age and your class day and time preference. I will make up the class lists for Cordelia. She will contact you with a confirmation and class updates.
 
All Drama clasess will be held at the Homelink location, Grace United Church of Christ, 5700 Leona, St. Louis MO, 63116. Drama students do not have to pay the Homelink registration fee.

I am pleased to offer Drama Workshops for interested SHARE students!
 
In our workshops, the students will gain an understanding of the acting process in an Ensemble setting.  Through theatre games, pantomime, and improvisation, we will focus on acting skills.  In particular, concentration, listening, using voice and body as instruments of communication and group cohesion and trust.  An informal presentation will culminate the 12-week workshops.  The creative process will be the focus!
 
I am a graduate of the Washington University Performing Arts Department and also the National Theater Institute in Connecticut.  I have acted, taught Drama, written and directed plays in the St. Louis area for the past 20 years with a few years baby break! I am thrilled to start up again and work with the next generation of talented drama students!
 
Tuesday afternoon classes at the Homelink location will be:
Stage Struck Kids: Age 5 to 11,  2:00 – 3:00 pm
Actors Ensemble: Age 12 and up,  3:00 – 4:00 pm 
 
Wednesday classes at the Homelink location will be:
Stage Struck Kids: Age 5 to 11,  11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Actors Ensemble: Age 12 and up,  12:30 – 1:30 pm 
 
 
Class cost: $60 for the 12-week workshop for the first child, if more than one child is enrolled the next child/children will pay $50 for the 12-week workshop.
 
Workshop will run from September 22 and/or 23 to December 14 and/or 15.
 
There may be a small fee for copying, props, etc. depending on what we choose to explore once the workshops are set in motion.
