PCH'S PURPOSE, GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS
OUR PURPOSE
Pompano Christian Homeschoolers is a volunteer support group for homeschool families. In an effort to fulfill Gods church mission to Reach and Nurture All People for Jesus Christ, the Pompano Christian Homeschoolers purpose is to reach out to all home schooling families and to nurture them in their effort to educate their children at home. “For you know that we deal with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.” I Thessalonians 2:11-12. To achieve these goals, the Pompano Christian Homeschoolers meets monthly to pray for and to encourage one another, share methods, curriculum, and ideas and to plan group events and field trips. The Support group encourages parents to have a personal relationship with Christ and to use materials based on traditional Biblical principles.

From the Artist
"Jesus says in Luke 18:16, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them, for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.' I have always pictured in my mind that Jesus was overwhelmed by the joy and excitement of children and was, especially at this invitation, smothered with affection and playfulness from the children which He in turn reciprocated."
