June 1, 2009 - Homeschooling Styles & Information Night - Kay Dittrich - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA 19464. 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Please bring samples of your portfolios, affidavits, objectives and anything else that may be helpful to a new homeschooling parent.
July 6, 2009 – Homeschool Chit Chat & Game Night – Christine Maziarz – Meet at the Hard Bean Café, 128 E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512. 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm ish. Bring a favorite game, and be prepared to share your successes from the past year, and your inspirations for the new school year.
August 3, 2009 - Ice Cream Social – Beth Flint – Meet at Friendly’s, Route 100 & Shoemaker Road, Pottstown, PA 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. YUM!
September 14, 2009 - Organization, Children & Chores - Beth Flint - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm.
October 5, 2009 – Music and Art – Sharon Hoyt - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA 7pm - 8:30pm.
November 2, 2009 - Multilevel Teaching-TBA - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm.
December 7, 2009 - Teaching Character & My Favorite Cookie - Please bring your favorite cookie! Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm.
January 4, 2010- Recipe Swap - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm. Please bring 10-15 copies of your favorite recipe. We will exchange copies and go home with a new cookbook! Also, bring your homeschool resolutions for the new year to share.
February 1, 2010 - Learning Styles - Valarie Beckius - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm.
March 1, 2010 - Curriculum Reviews-TBA - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm.
April 5, 2010 - Book & Curriculum Sale! - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm-8:30pm. Bring those things that you are done with!! Please tag with a price & bring your $$, too!
May 3, 2010 - Family Service- TBA - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm.
June 7, 2010 - Homeschool Information Night - TBA - Meet at the Pottstown Public Library, 500 High St., Pottstown, PA. 7pm - 8:30pm. Bring your portfolios and anything beneficial for our new homeschoolers!
