Sun Print Fabric Tote (Grades K-12th) Tuesday, October 20th 10:15 -11:45 AM Cost: $8.00 We have the perfect tote for you to design and give as a Christmas gift to someone special. Or just use it to bring to DiscoveryQuest each week for all the cool things you bring home! This is not your ordinary tote! Students will collect leaves, fern, flowers, shells and plenty of other nature items around our property and then create sunlight exposure imprints on cotton squares to create a personalized tote bag. We will even throw in some lettering for them to spell out their name on the nature exposure they create. Wait until you see how cool these look! Pre-registration is required. (561)267-0568

DiscoveryQuest Outdoor Learning Labs
Paintball Games (Grades 6-12) Thursday, October 29th 10:15 am-12:00 pm Cost: $20.00 It is time for our monthly paintball session!J Equipped with masks, paintball guns, C02 tanks, paintballs and group instruction, students will participate in team competition games to see who is the best at stalking and hiding in our paintball course which utilizes an all natural setting of tall grasses, new trails and wooded hiding areas. This course is the newest addition to our facility and is available for private group scheduling also. Wear long sleeve shirts, pants and tennis shoes which you do not mind getting dirty or wet. DiscoveryQuest Outdoor Learning Labs
Not So Spooky Spiders (Grades K-5th) Tuesday, October 27th 10:15 -11:45 AM Cost: $5.00 Spiders are amazing, especially in the way they catch their food by spinning beautifully diverse webs to trap their food. Students will locate and examine spiders in their habitat, experience first hand a spider’s keen sense of vibration during our “spider senses” game, attempt to keep from being a spider’s dinner during Spider Tag and discover God’s unique design exhibited in the actual structure of a web. How is it that a spider does not stick to its own web? You may be surprised at how clever God really is! Of course the class would not be complete without trying to create our own spider web. Fossil Dig (Grades K-5th) Thursday, October 29th 10:15 -11:45 AM Cost: $10.00 If your students enjoyed our Archeology Dig, then this one is sure to be fun! Now that they know how to dig, students will all spread out around a larger dig site where they will be equipped with proper tools and techniques before discovering and gently removing the sediment to expose replica Trilobites (small ocean dwelling creatures) and Diving Beetles. Of course we will throw in a few learning games and offer a biblical perspective to the whole subject of fossils. Once the fossils have been cleaned, students will get to take their finds home. Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Space is limited, so register early. Pre-registration is required. (561)267-0568

Krazy” Kayaking Competitions Tuesday, October 20th 10:15-11:45 AM Cost: $5.00 October is a great time to be on the water and having fun! We also like to make sure our students are learning some new skills to better equip them for other Florida Adventures. Fun competition is the name of the game as students circle up to practice proper kayaking paddle strokes and vessel maneuvering before practicing and perfecting their skills during some high energy team building water play. Life jackets will be provided. Water shoes and clothing which can get wet are a necessity. Pre-registration is required. (561)267-0568
