With the above verse as our mission statement, Christ’s Church Homeschoolers seeks to support and encourage homeschool families not only in regard to home education but also spiritually as we work to build families that glorify and honor God.
CCH is a co-op of nearly 100 member families who meet weekly for Friday classes for all ages in many and varied subjects. The 40 different classes we are able to offer this school year include but are not limited to American Sign Language, Art, Backyard Ballistics, Cake Decorating, Cartooning, Chess, Composition, Consumer Science, Cooking, Drama, Florida History, Geography, Guitar, HOPE, Literature, P.E., Poetry, Spanish, U.S & World History, Writing, and Yearbook. Most of our classes are taught by CCH parents, and all parents must commit to participating in the co-op by either teaching or assisting.
Our member families also participate in social outings and field trips to locations all over Jacksonville and beyond. Our seasonal parties include a Thankful Feast, Christmas Dessert, Valentine Brunch, and Spring Banquet. We offer several service project opportunities including a group-sponsored garage sale which this year raised over $1,200 for charity .
