Leftovers etc.
?Leftovers? is an arts and science-based resource center housing clean, dry materials from your home that can be used as creative learning tools. They are located in St. Charles, but very close to 270 and Page. Excelllent resource for art and craft supplies!

The project is sustained wholly by community volunteers who regularly donate scrap material and business partnerships that generate an abundance of overruns, discontinued items, rejects and obsolete parts.

They also offer a ton of homeschooling classes. Be sure to go to the website and click on "Homeschooling".
Bookstores with Homeschool materials
Lay Renewal Christian Bookstore/Homeschool Sampler
A Christian bookstore and resource center with an incredibly friendly and helpful staff!
They have recently acquired the entire stock from Homeschool Sampler and hope to continue to service the homeschoolers in buying curriculum. Check to see when homeschool mom, Lisa Vogt, will be there to help with curriculum questions. They also have free video rentals (including educational videos) and they always offer a 20% discount on ALL their books, gifts and music CDs in the store. They can order most anything you are looking for!
