|Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA)
The Home School Legal Defense Association is a non-profit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.
A statewide support group providing a yearly conference, legal information, a support group listing, and legislative updates for SC homeschoolers.
Third Option Accountability Association located in Greenville, SC
|South Carolina Homeschooler
The Carolina Homeschooler network formed to increase communication and support for South Carolina's Third Option homeschoolers. Our goal is to help you succeed in your homeschool journey by working through participating associations. Association directors benefit from working with other knowledgeable leaders. Their members benefit by having full access to this website and enjoying discounts on our online courses and trip registration fees. They're also able to participate in events and classes reserved for members only. Other services are in the planning stages.
|Academic Advantage Association
A 3rd Option Accountability Association. Our association was started in order to help homeschoolers fulfill state requirements with the least amount of intrusion into their home, and as inexpensively as possible. We believe parents are the ones who know what works with their child best and we will be there only to support them.
|Homeschool Legal Advantage (HLA)
HLA is an outreach of the Christian Law Association (CLA). The CLA has faithfully served churches and families since 1969, and has successfully defended over 8,000 educational freedom-related cases.
|Upstate Homeschool Co-op
We offer classes for home school students on Mondays and Wednesdays taught by paid professionals. The majority of our teachers are degreed in the field they are teaching.
|H.O.P.E. Homeschool Co-op
HOPE’s main concentration is honoring and glorifying Christ with everything that we do. Our belief is that when we work together, we can accomplish more for His glory. We can encourage each other by sharing the talents and expertise that God has given us as we share what we love or help in other ways. We meet most Fridays during the school year. Announcements begin at 9:00am and the first class begins at 9:30am. Lunch is at 12:30pm and the 4th hour classes begin at 1:30pm.

If you are looking for a Christ- Centered, academic, friendly co-op, STARS is currently accepting new members. STARS CO-OP will be having an open registration on Monday, July 16th from 6:30- 8:30 pm. It will be held at Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, Spartanburg, on the second floor. We offer a variety of classes that range from Nursery- High School: IEW A B and C, Apologia Sciences, Literature for grades, Saxon Math ( high school), Speech, Art. The Greenville HRC is committed to providing quality education experiences to homeschool students in the Greenville area. We provide a variety of academic and enrichment opportunities for students in first thru twelfth grade. Classes meet at Riverside Baptist Church in Greer, SC on Tuesdays from 9:00am-3:30pm.
