Thank you for your interest in CHNM! You must be a registered member of our group before access to the member website can be approved. Please note that, in addition to the information below, membership dues of $60 must be received before your website membership can be approved, and the $120 class day fee must be received before you will be allowed to register for classes, if you have chosen to join class day.

Our Mission Statement: A Christ-centered support group established to provide fellowship, encouragement and to enhance the ability of Christian families to home educate their children.

We do not send out spam - only information that is relevant to the group and to any classes or clubs your family has joined within the group.
Your website access will be approved as soon as your membership is approved by our board and payment is received.
In order to get to know our prospective members, we ask that you join us at our next board meeting to introduce yourselves. We meet on the third Monday of the month. Please see your confirmation email for location and time. We speak with prospective members at the beginning of the meeting so you do not have to stay for the entire meeting.

We believe the Bible to be inspired of God.
We believe that there is only one true God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the virgin birth and sinless life, literal death, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension into Heaven.
We believe that all have sinned and are lost without salvation. Salvation is offered to all mankind through the shedding of Christ’s blood on the cross of Calvary. (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:8-10, 13; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9)

I/We agree with this Statement of Faith and understand that I/we may be dismissed from this co-op if the information I/we have provided is intentionally inaccurate or misrepresented. 6. WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I understand and acknowledge that Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan is a voluntary unincorporated association that is a co-op of individual and independent home schools. I also understand and acknowledge that my home school is directly and solely responsible for the education, safety, and well-being of my child(ren). Therefore, in consideration of being permitted to participate in the activities of Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan, I forever waive and release Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan and any or all of its officers, members, or agents, from any or all liability or claims of whatever nature, arising out of any damage, loss, or injury to person or property, including death of myself and my child(ren) which has been or may be sustained as a result of my participation in the activities of Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan, even if such damage, loss, or injury may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence of Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan or any of its officers, members, or agents.

I also understand and acknowledge that Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan conducts many of its activities at the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church, and I agree that this waiver and release of liability will extend to the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church and its employees, agents, or members for any liability arising out of my participation in the activities of Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan on property owned by the Gaylord Evangelical Free Church.

I have carefully read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability, and have had the opportunity to consult independent legal counsel concerning the same, and freely and voluntarily execute this document.

I understand and acknowledge that this waiver and release of liability is binding on me, my family members, and my heirs, successors, and assigns. By signing this document, I understand that I may not sue or otherwise pursue any claim against the organizations and/ or persons listed above for any property damage, personal injury, or death that I or my children might sustain while participating in activities of Christian Homeschoolers of Northern Michigan.
