The JBAB Home Educators website is a safe, secure, and private website. The only people who have access to JBABHE's content are JBABHE members.

Benefits of a JBABHE Membership:

  • Access to the forum and calendar on our website, which allows you to communicate with JBABHE members and learn about educational opportunities, fun field trips, group classes, home education resources, social events, and much more!

  • Receive student ID and teacher ID cards (printable via the website)

  • Member access to all JBABHE group classes, field trips, group sponsored events, clubs and sports  *some costs or fees may be required depending on activity*

  • Discounted membership to Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA)

  • Age-specific social groups with opportunities for home school children to mix

  • Participate in proctored annual testing

  • Opportunities in academic based fairs, conferences and competitions

  • Information for additional military-focused student and family opportunities and events

Our organization is governed by a constitution and by-laws, which may be accessed and reviewed through the “Additional Resources” section of the website after signing up.

How do I Join?

 After filling out the "Request Membership" form with your information, you will be asked to pay an annual membership fee of $30 (non-refundable) due within 3 weeks of when you "Request Membership” or you will have to resubmit your application.  The JBAB Home Educators fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30.  All fees are broken up by semester only, there is no pro-rated membership fee.  Methods of payment are Paypal, personal check, money order, or bank check mailed directly to JBAB Home Educators at the address below.  We cannot process your application until we receive your family's annual membership fee and, for security purposes, you connect with our Welcome Coordinator.  Our Welcome Coordinator will be contacting you once you submit your "Request Membership" and she/he will  be happy to answer any addition questions you may have.

This is what the membership fee covers:

  • Annual website and PO Box costs                             

  • JBABHE-sponsored events

  • Supplies and scholarships

  • All other expenditures approved under the constitution and by-laws.

The fee is $15 (non-refundable) if you are signing up after January 1st of the academic year (see note about fiscal year above). *Paypal is available for a fee of $1.50 (You do not need a Paypal account to use this feature - you can checkout as a guest). Please send your check or money order to:

The age and grade are for administrative use only - our member directory does not have access to this information.  Only the child's name is displayed in the directory.
