CHEC Longview

CHEC Longview is a group of over 100 families located in Longview, Texas, that meet together for monthly meetings, fellowship, community outreach and co-op classes.

CHEC Longview is NOT affiliated with Fellowship Bible Church. They are very generous to allow us to use their facility. Please contact the CHEC Board (see contact information) for more information about CHEC. Please DO NOT contact the church.

At monthly meetings, we seek to minister to and encourage homeschooling families in their walk with the Lord and their journey in homeschooling. We stand on the scripture:

"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But, woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not easily broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.

Along with monthly meetings, we have a lot of other activities that are available for member participation. More detailed information concerning our statement of beliefs and requirements for joining can be found by clicking on the "Request CHEC Membership" tab.
