MHE Monday Classes

General Class Information

MHE holds classes on Mondays in the fall and spring for an opportunity for our children to have some fun in a group setting.

There are morning classes offered for older children (normally high school classes) that run for 15 weeks each semester. Morning classes meet from 9:00–12:30 pm. The morning classes run a few weeks longer than the afternoon classes because they are more academic in nature and parents may choose to apply high school credits where applicable. For morning classes only students may be dropped off.

Afternoon classes are offered for children ages 5 through teens for 10 weeks each semester. There are nurseries/preschool class available for younger siblings of enrolled children. Afternoon classes run from 12:45-3:00pm. Afternoon classes are run as a cooperative (co-op) meaning a parent/guardian MUST be present and assisting in classes at all times during the afternoon class time. We have one exception to that rule. Families who have registered only for the afternoon teen class may opt to pay an additional $50 fee in order to drop off their teen otherwise they are required to stay and help.

Class offerings change each year depending on what parents are willing to teach.

Class Fees: There are additional fees associated with Monday classes (for building fees, insurance fees and classroom supplies) that are separate from the general MHE membership. The fees are different for each age group.
