Homeschool Testing

This is NOT a mandatory test.  If you wish to evaluate your children and see how they are doing academically or just expose them to a testing enviroment, this is an option.

The TerraNova Third Edition is a norm-reference test that is offered by homeschoolers for homeschoolers in a warm and non-threatening environment. This test is hand-graded in order to ensure privacy of your child's test scores. The following is the schedule for fourth through twelfth graders only. The test results are given to the parents NEVER to the county.

Each student will receive an Evaluation Letter to mail in to the county for their yearly evaluation. That is the only thing required to provide by law. Your test scores will be for your records only.

Cost:

Sonshine Christian Academy members is $45 per child

 Non-Sonshine members is $55 per child.

We are adding the Survey Plus Test this year, which will cover Spelling, Language Mechanics, Math Computation, and Vocabulary Student Must Attend ALL Days

Testing dates:

THURSDAY May 9, 2019. 9:30 to 2:05 FRIDAY May 10, 2019. 9:30 to 2:05

WE WILL HAVE THE TESTING FOR 3 HOURS EACH DAY PLUS BREAKS.

The testing will be held at Tropical Farms Baptist Church, 1555 SW Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34997, in the fellowship hall. Please park on the office side of the building, by the road in the homeschool parking area.
