A Day in the LIfe of a Homeschool High Schooler

Is there really such a thing as a typical day? No, I don't think so. I will just tell you about a day in my life as a high school student at home. Once I am up, I watch a little bit of the Food Network. I love to cook, and I can always find some new ideas. While I am watching the Food Network, I will make my breakfast. I typically have cereal or eggs. My new favorite is Polenta sticks and eggs. By this time, my little brother and sister are awake. We tend to start school around 10am. I will get my planner, iPod, and computer and set to work. I don't work on all subjects everyday. My mom lets me choose how to get my workload done in the week. I just have to have it done by Sunday. If I am behind, it is up to me to catch up. My mom is normally helping my brother & sister, but she is always available to answer any questions that I might have. If she can't figure it out, she googles it. I use my iPod to keep track of my hours. I don't have to, but I like to. I like to work on a subject for an hour or so then get up and stretch. I work until lunch time. I fix my lunch and then go back to work. I normally stop school around 2-3. This doesn't happen everyday. If my mom is not working we tend to do school a little bit longer in the day, go to the library, play frisbee golf, or something else fun. This is a day in my not so typical family's life.
