STANDARDIZED TESTING

Ruth Ellen Howdyshell (Certified teacher with Jackson Christian Schools) is offering to Proctor Standardized Testing for all Jackson Area Homeschooling Families.  Ruth Ellen has blessed our homeschool community with this service for over 20 years.  She will be using  the IOWA Assessments . The testing is offered in June again for those desiring it. The dates are June 3 and 10 (both Saturdays, due to scheduling this year). 

If you are interested you can register students in grades K – 12.  This cost for the basic test is $48 for K – 2^nd grade students and $38 for 3^rd grade and older.  If the test is given along with the optional Cognitive Abilities Test, which helps determine if a student is working up to his potential, the cost is $68 for 1^st and 2^nd grades and $58 for 3^rd grade and older. 

The administration fee for the test is $40 for K – 3^rd grade.  If a student is in 4^th grade or above, the fee is $30 for the first student in the family and $10 for each additional student.
